The countdown to the New Year is on and as soon as the clock strikes 12.01 am on January 1st 2024, the annual pledge to get fit begins.  Every year without fail I make an ode to myself (and any friend who will listen) that this year will be different. This year will be the year where I finally get Emily Ratajkowski abs, I will start meal prepping and I will buy an overly expensive but chic water bottle and a new gym kit to encourage me to actually get past the changing room door and into the studio.

When I was a child I was always dancing. With a Caribbean upbringing, dance and music were very much a part of my upbringing. Dance was in my household and every year I'd go to Notting Hill Carnival and have the freedom to dance in the street. I didn't just love dance, though. I was also a keen swimmer, footballer and badminton player, but when I was 12 I stopped all forms of exercise because I felt self-conscious in my body.

Jim Carrey appears to be making moves to cement his retirement from acting after putting his sprawling ranch home on the market for a whopping $28.9 million. The Mask actor has lived in the primarily one-story property for 30 years and initially purchased the lavish estate in 1994 for $3.8 million. Spanning more than 12,700 square feet, the home boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms and is set behind more than 280 feet of hedged frontage, right in the heart of Brentwood, Los Angeles.

James Middleton delighted his fans on Sunday when he shared a new photo in honour of Mother's Day. The 35-year-old posted a fun picture showing him beaming him for the camera, with his arm wrapped around his mum, Carole Middleton. The pair look incredibly happy in the touching image – and it is little wonder. The picture appears to have been taken at the evening reception following James's wedding to Alizee Thevenet in September 2021.
